A busy June on the farm and with the glamping. We had amazing people staying who just loved it, chilling in a field full of tall grass and watching the barn owls patrolling in the evening sun.
Good news on the bird front. We are now working with the RSPB in bringing back habitat for certain declining birds, the RSPB are currently doing number and type surveys and I will keep you posted on the results.
I did approach our local University in trying to get young conservationists involved from the start of this conservation project but apparently, they are more interested in saving exotic animals in warmer countries. A worthwhile cause but shame on you, our conservation needs to start here at home in the gardens, woodland and fields!
